Nota d'usoConoscenza, nel senso di sapere, si traduce con “knowledge” soprattutto quando si tratta di una conoscenza astratta: La sua conoscenza dell'arte medievale è molto estesa, her knowledge of medieval art is extensive. Quando invece si parla dell'applicazione di tale conoscenza, si usa il sostantivo plurale “skills”: Vorrei usare le mie conoscenze linguistiche nel mio lavoro, I'd like to use my language skills in my job; Si richiede un'ottima conoscenza dei moderni sistemi informatici, excellent ICT skills are required. -
